ECONOMIC GROWTH AND EMPLOYMENT ISSUES IN THE EU

Abstract

The European Union (EU) is facing several economic growth and employment
challenges, including uneven economic growth, high youth unemployment, and the impact
of the global economic slowdown and the COVID-19 pandemic. A statistical analysis of
reveals disparities in GDP growth rates and unemployment rates among EU member states,
with some countries experiencing stronger growth and lower unemployment rates than
others. The EU has implemented initiatives to boost economic growth and reduce
unemployment, but much more must be done to ensure a more equal and sustainable future
for all EU citizens.
